LaToya Moore is a Chicago native & graduate of Keller Graduate School of
Management & DeVry University, where she earned her Master’s in Finance and
Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She
acquired her accounting and finance expertise and business savvy with 14 years of
experience in the following industries: Aerospace, Consumer Package Goods,
Consumer Beauty, Auto Manufacturing and Financial Services.
LaToya is currently a Illinois Licensed Realtor.
Before that she was an Finance Manager for Coty Inc where she managed a $170M
portfolio that consisted of: Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Rimmel, Clairol and an array
of Mass Fragrances. She is known as a serial entrepreneur. As a “serialpreneur”
LaToya is founder of Moore & Associates Business Services, Co-Founder of the
SMB Network, founder of Dorothy’s Place -Airbnbs (vacation rental properties)
& a Business Coach for the Chicago Urban League.
LaToya loves working with not-for-profits organization focusing on youth in her
community to affect positive change and outcomes.
She is also an advocate for Endometriosis Awareness. Endometriosis is a condition
in which tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus (called “the endometrium”),
is found outside the uterus, where it induces a chronic inflammatory
reaction that may result in scar tissue. This disorder almost took and
forever changed her life February 14, 2017 by causing a bowel
obstruction that required 3 major surgeries and wearing a colostomy
bag for an entire year. Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10
women during their reproductive years (i.e. usually between the ages
of 15 to 49), which is approximately 176 million women in the world.
